Their design is incredibly minimalist and elegant — they're essentially the shoe industry's equivalent to Apple. I was excited to put these trendy sneakers to the test — and lift off.

Taking them to NYC's newly opened Peloton studio, the eye-catching sole design didn't go unnoticed, earning several compliments. Even though these sneakers are designed mainly for walking and standing, their flat structure made them ideal for my lifting class, with the midsole and outsole delivering excellent stability for single-leg and lateral movements.

One remarkable feature was the absence of any need to adjust my shoelaces during my entire workout session. Here's hoping that the brand develops a running sneaker that offers the same convenience. After commuting a few times to the city, the sneakers accompanied me on a weekend trip to picturesque Rhode Island. From beaches to bars to mansions, these sneakers clocked over 14 miles both with and without socks, and remained impressively odor-free throughout the summer.

Several months later, they continue to serve as my go-to footwear for commuting to and from Pilates sessions, office wear coupled with dresses and skirts, and dinner outings with friends. My boyfriend and I are consistently amazed at the odorless quality they maintain. Having logged countless sockless steps and remaining odor-free, I'm certain the Atoms Model 001 sneakers are the perfect match for my feet.
